Hi all,
I am in the process of swapping a hard for soft top on a 88. I have bought a complete set of second had hoops and a tailgate, I have not received them yet. I was wondering if someone could maybe help with a list of bits and bobs that I might need to fit them.

The tailgate has hinges. I have never seen one close up fitted so it is difficult for me at this point to work out what I need; lashing brackets for softtop, tailgate latches etc. I don't think the hoops has any fittings!

Any help would be well received and appreciated

when you get the stuff post a pic and someone will tell you what your missing.
Most of the hood stuff can be got from Exmoretrim and the tailgate stuff is usuly from the shows.

One of the usual things missing is the truck cab base plate. Occasionally the "U" frame that goes around the rear window

The only thing i can think of is a plate that bolts on top of the windscreen and the side plates that go round the door top to hold the soft top, did it to mine and needed nothing except this(thats the army bits anyway), hinge and locks wer already there 4 the tailgate, tie downs in place for the softop.
