might be easier just to get a pick up style hard top mine was 20 pound off ebay and i changed it on my own it 30mins

I like the look of it as a pick up, thing is id want to have it a pick up for winter and then in summer put my soft top back on, also thing is a few people near me have had there soft tops slashed

well mart mate just get a cheap pick up its only the roof and back bit you will need there not a lot
worst mistake i ever made was selling my series :(

Thanks alot mate, ive bid on that one, just its a bit of a distance from Blackpool, but would make a trip out... i will keep my eye out for some more too

If all you want to do is keep dry in the summer but retain the open feel of going topless you could always try a bikini hood for the summer and the hard top for the winter. A tailgate is a good idea but I made one from some speedframe and scrap pallets when I took my hard top off for the summer once. Replacing/removing the hard top is a short job but two people to lift it off is handy - you can leave the sides on.
