Ok, I've installed my Ashcroft R380 and filled it up with Dexron III according to Ashcrofts recommendation.
They say they find Dexron III to be better than MTF94.
Gearing is a little notchy, and there is vibration while driving (I feel it by holding the gear lever)
Is this normal? Must admit i haven't fine adjusted the bias springs yet...
The guy who helped me with the gearbox change (gearbox/engine overhaul professional) just shook his head when I showed the Dexron III, told me that oil is too thin for using in that box.
Anyone with experience who can comment on this? What could possibly happen? Damage?
Ashcroft recommends a "Good" Dexron III. What defines good here?
Answers much appreciated. / Confused Swede
