Hi All,
When I bought my old Landy, a few years back now, the old boy I bought it from gave me a set ( or maybe two sets, there's 4 ) of snow chains. Try as I might, all the information I seem to be able to find about snow chains is of the quick fit variety. The ones I have, I believe, are old army type ones that you actually drive onto. They are heavy duty (and bloody heavy).
So the question is does any one know what they are called? Is there a specific type name? Does anyone want them!?
Thought that might get your attention. They are not for sale!! I'm giving them away. They came to me free and in good faith as I am a bit of a Landy nut. So they leave me in the same way.
If needs be I can get a picture of the four. But I'm sure there must be someone who knows what I'm talking about and will be able to furnish us with a picture or link. Fingers crossed anyway.
It's not a first come first served give away, nor is there any dibs or the likes. Oh, and due to weight restrictions you'd have to come and collect them. If you post a reply with why you should be the proud new owner then I will choose who gets them. Might even go as far as to put all the names in a hat - if there are any takers that is!!
I'm in Twickenham, Middlesex and occasionally go to the North West to visit me Mum and Dad
Cheers all
