That is on the correct side for a 200tdi, The air intake on the 300tdi, Td5 and Tdci is on the drivers side.

Mines a disco 200tdi conversion and mine works and is on the same side as yours

Infact just to add, Even thought it is on the right side. It might not be connected to the air box. Check its sealed up properly before you venture in to any deep water.
Any chance of some pics from inner wing to air box???

The Snorkel on my 200tdi landie seems to be on the opposite side to everyone else's (I've just bought it)
I've not had a chance to go over the truck yet but is this odd or normal for a 200tdi? Or is it a 'fake' snorkel someone's fitted?

Are you sure it isn't a small, off duty Czecozlavakian (SP?) traffic warden? ...
