have you not got pipe work from filter to the wing on your vehicle already
Thats what I got from Paddocks for my 200tdi. Its all you need, bolts onto the left wing.
need to cut my wing
What engine do you have? I have a 90 that was a 2.25 petrol converted to 200 tdi, my airbox is connected to a vent on nearside wing and the snorkel just bolted onto that - simples... are you sure there is no vent?

Just unscrew the plastic cover off your wing. On a 300tdi that is the one on the drivers side just in front of your door.
i don't have a plastic cover
what do you have on the vertical face of the passenger side wing ?
not a thing
ummmm - sorry to ask but why did you buy a side mounted snorkel if you dont have a hole? Looks like you have a snorkel already that goes through the vent that normally drives cool air to the heater box??

you dont have any pipework from your filter to your wing?
where does your engine draw in fresh air?
have a look around the inner wing, the snorkal you have fits to the side vent but i have seen loads of variations, e.g the ones at work exit the wing on the top side and iv seen custom ones routed completely different from the stock LR.
if not, find a local landy breakers yard -if you pull it off yourself they prob only charge you a tenner.
though you'll need to make sure the wing to airbox bit on the inside/inner wing is sealed too, on my mantec one this bulkhead interface was poor but i have seen one (think it was safari?) that had a seperate plastic formed plate for inside the wing.
if your fitting this, dont forget to extend your breathers too or all this work will be for nothing when your diff seals implode at the first swolen ford you hit!
