Hi,
Just had my Series III MOT'ed and to pass needed a new Brake Master Cylinder ( Which has been fitted ). On the way back from the garage I noticed a lack of power, even more so on inclines. On reaching home ( 10 miles ) I noticed that both back brakes were smoking quite good and remaining partially one, hence lack of power!
The new cylinder was adjusted to the same position as the old one. None of the brakes have been touched. Am I right in assuming that it's just a case of adjusting the pushrod on the cylinder to ease the pressure and release the pads?
I'm a DIY mechanic, if you can use the word mechanic.....
