Hello all.
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Ramair-4m...b0465fc13&clk_rvr_id=1215919488106&rmvSB=true
I am looking to change the small rubber pipe work on the Freelander, not necessarily with this stuff.
I wondered if any pals had done the job and knew how much was needed to complete the task. Also, I gather i will need a pit to do this job, if so, I will only get one shot at this so would welcome any advice as always on the subject.
Thanks in advance for your time on this.
Cheers, Gaz.

What small pipes are you changing? If it's the engine vacuum pipes? Then a pit is definitely not needed. All pipes are easily accessible from under the bonnet.

+1 on changing without a pit. I changed the pipes to the turbo actuator from below but it could easily be done by driving the car onto a couple of concrete blocks. All the rest are done from above.

Thanks for your replies.
My intention is to replace all. Engine vacuum pipes and turbo actuator while I'm at it, and if there's any over the screen wash for show.
Have to say that I can't see my way down to the actuator with out going under the car.
It does look to be a bowl of spaghetti to me, I''ll change them one at a time and see how I go.
Cheers.

Raise the right hand side of car slightly on its suspension with a jack under the front jacking point. Turn the steering full left and you'll be able to see the turbo control solenoid, by looking through the steering rod cutout in the inner wing. All the pipes can be go at without venturing underneath the car at all. ;)
