Slack clutch

Hi I have a 05 Td4. Clutch has always been good, until yesterday, I had stopped for 5 mins while engine running, came to move off and noticed clutch peddle very slack, peddle returns but difficult to change gear. This morning it will not go into gear while engine is running. Any ideas TIA.

Sounds like a hydraulic issue. Look at the fluid level to see if it's dropped, also look under the gearbox for signs of fluid dropping out.

Slack? Could be where the pedal connects to the hydraulics. There's a silly clip on it that can break
