He posts all over the bloody place, not just here.

As soon as I recognise one of his posts it goes straight in the kill file.

He is a pillock.
So ignore him.

In general it's best to just killfile all blueyonder users (as well as
Wanadoo and Tiscali) since none of them have anything interesting or
useful to contribute.

I'm convinced that all three ISPs apply an IQ test to customers and
select from the bottom 10 percentile.

What a crock of ****. Where do you get these statistics? I own two 4x4
vehicles, so does that mean I'm twice as likely to get drunk, drive & kill
someone? Prick!

No but lets be honest - we drive big 4x4s because we feel safer and we know
we will come off better against a smaller car

I also drive an MX5 and its scary sometimes - I'm driving out of town and
all these shaven headed men and daft women come in the opposite direction in
their RRs, X5s and M class motors - on the phone, doing their make up,
chatting and doing their best "trying" to stick to their side of the road
and lets not forget cutting corners a little too much

(are we like Volvo drivers and then subconsciously drive worse than someone
who knows their car only got 2 starts in NCAP)
Old Jeremy clarkson once said we would all be better drivers if we had small
plastic cars with a spike on the steering wheel as opposed to an air-bag

That may be why you drive one, I drive one because I'm a farmer.

Interesting !

I bet you don't drive what I would call a proper 4x4 i.e a £50k BMW X5 or RR
Vogue more likely one of those jacked up little jap pick-ups?

Or are farmersd really wealthy after all - i thought they had a bloody hard
time economically and bought transport for its utility rathrer than for the
pose factor -

A little bit face about arse?

At a rough guess, most farmers drive "proper" 4x4s that are competent in
mud and on rough ground, because they drive in mud and on rough ground, not
posemobiles that can't cope with any terrain trickier than the grass verge
outside little Jemima's private primary school, despite being "4x4".

Posemobiles such as, to pick a totally random example from fresh air, a
£50k X5.

But what would I know, after all - I only grew up in a farming area, and
drive a 4x4 off-road.

To a certain extent I guess, but lets not forget that SOME people actually
live & work in places & situations that need them. However this isn't
justification for owning 4x4's, this is about statistics (made up or
otherwise) supposedly claiming that people who drive vehicle A are more
likely to kill someone through negligence or whatever than someone who
drives vehicle B. If there is any actual real evidence of such statistics
then I'm willing to bet that the majority of deaths are caused by
performance car drivers, YOUNG inexperienced performance car drivers.
