Iam Simon based in Suffolk UK with 2 Discoveries. 1994 200Tdi with 273k miles and 2000 Td5 Millenium model with 180k miles - currently the problem child!

The Td5 has a coolant leak - been pressure tested for 5 hrs at 12psi and no leak. Chemical tested for CO in coolant and no problems. No power issues and runs well. Only loses coolant when driven at speed on motorways at higher speeds for in excess of 1 hour! Doesn't matter how I drive locally there is no loss!

I'm in Suffolk too, albeit right on the border with the bad lands of Essex.

Re the coolant - do you know if your head gasket has been done? It might be that the block has shifted as rear early TD5s. Also the rad is known to leak, but that would show up on the pressure test I'm sure.
