Evening knowledgable folk. Slowly taking my spare engine apart to check all the bits that may need replacing and began removing the cam lifters and guides etc.
Initially guide was stuck and came out after a squirt of oil…..and so did the follower leaving the roller sat on the cam lobe (it was number 8 at the back). It then fell into the oil gallery. I’m thinking that if I take off the cam cover on the rear I’ll be able to get it out? Lucky the engine is on a stand and…..I’m still learning
