Freelander 1 Side rubbing strip double sided tape

Hello all

I would appreciate a steer toward getting some "sticks like 5h1t to a blanket" double sided tape for rubbing strips. My facelift has a slightly damaged strip that I want to remove, straighten and reattach.

Recommendations please?

3M VHB tape. Its what manufacturers use to stick trim on with.
