as long as the engine is running you can't suck water into an engine.
and if it dies. it's usually because you've sucked water thru the air inlet.
I've not heard of anyone killing an engine after ingesting water thru the exhaust.

just get some scrap pieces and cut n weld them to suitI think ill go for a home made one and if its a big mess ill but a s/s kit lol
