I have a Shogun 3.0 24v LWB N reg (Brit version.)

Nearside rear shock leaking and MOT is due.
Have rang Mitsubishi and find that they will cost me £169 per shock plus
VAT. They also want £199 plus VAT to fit a pair.
I aint skint yet but £600 for two rear shocks aint looking my idea of good
value.

Has anyone fitted standard shocks in place of the electronic adjustable
ones.
Do I have to change both bearing in mind that always change standard shocks
in pairs.
Is there an after market version.
Would the Pajero ones fit?

Any suggestions ?

Thanks
fredhead

Have a look at:

They seem to be £30 + VAT each - that's much better. Fit shockers only in
pairs.

Pop over to the Pajero ownwers club forum. I am sure you can get
cheapish v.good quality electrical ones somewhere in the UK
http://www.pocuk.com/phpBB2/viewforum.php?f=1.

If you go to the Pajero owners club web site and go to forums Tech, do a
search for shocks there has been plenty of discussion on this topic lately.
