Shogun diesel fuel consumption

I have a 1998 (R reg) Shogun. It's LWB, auto and 2800 diesel. What
sort of consumption should I get? Iseem to use fuel like water in
London and it's not much better at 80.

Hmmm. . . .large heavy 4x4, autobox, smallish hard-working engine driven
round town or at 80mph . . . . .

I'd be impressed if you averages much more than 24mpg.

I'd be guessing low to mid 20's at 80 or so,

and high teens to 20 around london- especially if you habitually use a fair
bit of power away from the lights...
