Hi everyone me again

Posted a thread recently about my rear diff bush and found you all a great help and i managed to fix this problem myself.

But again i have another

When i am driving at slow speeds you can hear a noise comming from what sounds like the front cv.It makes a sort of clicking noise like the one a lolipop stick makes in your bike wheel when you was a kid.
Also when reversing on full lock it makes some grinding noises and bangs like its come out of gear.

Any ideas anyone i have been told its the gearbox and i have been told its the transfer box.

Please help

Sounds like one fo the front CV joints, then.

If you drive it slowly on full right lock, then full left lock, (or vise versa) which direction makes the worst noise. This is how you tell what side needs replacing.

Also when reversing on full lock it makes some grinding noises and bangs like its come out of gear.

Get the obvious (and cheap) problems, like CV joints, sorted first so you can differentiate between that problem and any others. Then check the VCU by putting a blob of paint on the front and rear propshafts and seeing if they still line up after a short drive. Do a search for "VCU" or "viscous coupling" for more details.
