i am thinking of fitting a servo to my series 1963 2/3, and looking at my 1974 carawagon this has a servo fitted, so i am asuming that servo's were fitted to all LWB series land rovers and if so would one fit on my series 2?.

Not all LWB series landrovers had servos fitted. My 1977 109" Pickup has never had a servo.

so could be just safari and carawagon types, wich are a bit heavier

I think they servos were added as modifications, as for being heavier, The 1 ton I have has a heavier GVW than either the carawagon or S/W.

If you fit a servo you will need to alter the brakepipes as the master cylinder is a twin system not single.

You don't mention whether or not it is a diesel or petrol, if it is a petrol you can tap straight into the inlet manifold for the vacuum hose but if it is a diesel you will have to use the latter system with a butterfly valve fitted to the inlet manifold or fit a belt driven brake vacuum pump.
If you need any pics of the two different type I will post later.
