I'd like to give my S3 a service before winter sets in. Can anyone suggest a standard serving kit that would I would need? I've never attempted to do this before as I am a novice to vehicle maintainence. M&M 4x4 sell a Service Kit via mail order. Are they any good?

Thanks....:confused:

Depends what make it is. Britpart isnt the best but is better than not changing the servicable items.

Oil filter isnt hard to change but is messy !

better that than nothing, I used britpart fuel filters in the past without any problems.Although they did clog quicker than the OEM ones.

You don't say if it is petrol or diesel!

For a petrol, plugs, points, condenser;

For diesel, fuel flter;

For both, change the air and oil filters, change the oil, and check your antifreeze levels, check the diff oil levels and top up if required, grease your prop shaft UJ's and anything else that has a grease nipple, check the oil level in your steering box.

Also check your steering and wheel bearings and adjust if required.

Basic service done!
