I have been thinking long and hard about weither to sell jack my series three or not so I have decider to list him for sale and test the water

There is a fairly lengthy rebuild thread on the projects area showing where I started and where he is now, under the title meet jack, but the bare bones of the story are that I bought my 1975 series three short wheelbase from a fellow club member after he had been sat for a couple of years only moving to be MOT'd. I set straight to work replacing the rotten door bottoms, adding wolf door tops, having new front dumb irons welded on and wire brushing and underselling all the parts of the chassis that I could get to. I also replaced the gearbox as the old one kept jumping out of second. While it was stripped down I also fitted a defender heater box and motor and repainted in a bright green including seatbox, footwells and transmission tunnel. In the rear I have fitted two forward facing trakker seats and inertia reel seat belts. These have been fitted so that they don't fold as I couldn't get them to sit comfortably. I have also fitted a set of brand new Michelin XZL 7.50's. Finally I have also retrimmed the dashboard.

As you can see I have put a lot of work into this and I am only considering selling as I want a 110 as I feel that a 110 will suit me better.

I am looking to get around £2100 for jack, enough so I can buy a 110 as I don't want to be landiless! I would consider any swap to a 110 and am not afraid of a bit of work.

I am in Woodbridge just north of Ipswich in Suffolk
