Drove me series to work today...tried to drive home and the clutch did bugger all but i could hear a change in the box if that makes sense ? less rattly when pedal depressed.

I checked the fluid levels and all was fine.

Then as if by magic it started working perfectly again :confused::confused:

any ideas :confused::D

no you didnt ,just stirred a little recently ,and yes i do have some ideas ,check m/c rod nuts and slave and master for slight dampness on return stroke they can suck air in which takes a few pedal operations to clear ,without loosing much fluid although that will occur eventually

I'm no mechanic but sounds like the thrust bearing sticking on the shaft.
Keep your fingers crossed as it could be a one off.
