series 3 rear diff pinion seal

guys,

have I purchased the correct seal? I remember reading somewhere I had to be careful dependent on the type of mud shield I had on?

the mudshield comes in two types on the Salisbury, I've just upgraded to the later better mudshield but didn't cause any seal issues?
