Series 3 109 Rear air shocks.

Hi all, I've been looking for some pump up adjustable rear air shocks for a series 3 109. I've failed to find and online. Does anyone know if they are available for if any thing can fit. Will be bracing and redesigning top mount so can be changed to suit different mount.

Reason for air shocks is have a big canopy for camping and planning to put a roof tent up top. Body roll is already to much. Don't worry it's got a sneaky 3.9 v8 with carbs to haul the extra weight. Just under going a sight repaint and tidy up, canopy currently off, easier to re engineer shock if nessasery with it off.

Looks a bit short for a 109!?
I presume you mean air spring helpers, not 'air shocks'? Or do you mean to replace the rear springs completely?

If body roll is bad, an anti-roll bar might suit better in addressing this issue.

I've read up on them and reviews seem mixed, some people seem to find them fail quickly, others are happy.

Heavy duty 25mm rear anti roll bars are available.

Yes only replace shocks

It's a 109, back of chassis has been shortened. I often get told that.

Given the chassis is already shortened you would likely have to fabricate brackets for both.
