Series 2B Cherry Picker

Hello All, I have just registered today and am impressed with the interest in this site. I have just bought a 1967 Forward Control Cherry Picker. I cannot find a chassis plate, can someone tell me where it should be. I have looked in all the usual places. I am surprised to see that the chassis is like new on this old girl. I think it was owned from new by BT as it is yellow under the blue respray. It has a Simon L25 platform. I am in need of some parts for the cherry picker, has anyone got either the hydraulic pumps or maybe a complete unit for sale. I bought it to use as a cherry picker, but like it so much, when I finished with it I may convert it to a truck. It has been fitted with a Perkins 4203 diesel, was this a conversion or special order from new?. I like the idea of running legally with no Mot and on red diesel. I will use it for shopping as well! Any help would be appreciated, Regards Adrian

wow, what a great buy. if i were you i would keep the cherry picker on forever.the perky is probably a conversion. as for parts for the cherry picker any hydraulic specialst should be able to help. where abouts are you
