Series 2 Seat box?

Hi, need a replacement seatbox for a 1970 SWB S2A (Diesel) that I am restoring, is it the same part as a series 3??

Also need a parts book (CD??) so I can see what is missing, anybody know where the best place to get one from

I have a series 2 and a series 3 box as well as the cd, where in cumbria are you ?

I am near Barrow in Furness. Land Rover is actually for my son (17 yrs old). Will be his first car and a good experience to strip and restore. Any help really appreciated as we both know very little about Land Rovers

About 10 miles west from me then, I have a series 3 seat box somewhere I think and one from a 2 as well I think. Defo have the CD though as I'm looking at it now

Excellent, I guess we need to discuss further, costs etc...

First off go put a thread in the intro section just as a bit of background say hi etc

Secondly PM's are the accepted means, most will go through to peoples emails too so they can see whats going on without logging in/trade a number via pm etc
