Hi there just had a go at cleaning the sedimenter and its hopeless all rotted and nuts are round.....problerbly same guy who rounded the viscous nut.I have 8mm I'd hose a 2 jublie clips but how do I join onto the tank end

Yea, someone broke the drain plug on mine and glued it back on for athsetic purposes :|

I got the pipes off the head unit, with some stilsons, but apparently no one sells the pipe fixtures I need to put it all back together so i ran a new pipe in from the tank to the lift pump on my 200TDI.

If you are just bipassing it though, you should be able just to cut the pipe and put a section of larger pipe over the top of the joint and put the jubilee clips at either side of the joint you have put in....if that makes sence.

8mm rubber pipe. 2 jubilee clips.

Cut the pipe at 1 side of sedimeter and slide pipe over. Then same on other side. Jobs a good un.

Dont forget then to twist the sedimeter bowl and try to snap it off as it will leak fuel and make rear wheel slip.

When you cut pipe you wont lose much diesel so dont worry bout catchin it till you remove sedimeter from chassis
