hi having removed the basic seat with the pins to luxury ones i find my knees to dash has got closer if i was to fit the ones with the seat frames on the runners on what is the space from the seat back to the dash please

I think you are just experiencing the difference of new seat foam, not a lot of space whatever you do. I have got used to basic seats and find them OK.
