Seat rake

Hi, I need to fold the driver seat forward on a Defender 90 TD5, to change the seat belt. The side lever is stuck, tried penetrating oil to no avail. Anyone have a trick how to free this up ?

Try rocking the seat upright back and forth, works for me when my lever gets stuck.

Tried rocking & shaking seat to no avail, it is locked solid !

Removing the rubber handle and hitting the metal bar upwards with a hammer while rocking it worked for me when I had one seize up.

Afraid not, seems to be locked solid

Just unbolt it’s, it’s only 4 bolts
