Seat box before Rear Tub?

Hi again all.
I have painted the seat box on my 110 rebuild but not the tub, both of which are currently not fitted.
I’d like to now fit the seat box and all the floors forwards, but I don’t want to fit the tub yet as it’s not been worked on.

Would this work, or would I have to take the seat box out again to fit the tub?

I'd wait til the tub and sills are in and aligned/diagonally square and door gaps set...then fit seat box - this way the box won't get in the way.

You will need to fit the seatbox after the tub once you have got the tub/bulkhead all Aligned correctly. So wrap up the bits you have done and store them safely!

I knew this was the real answer.
Trouble is, if I fit the seat box I can drive it around again, and I’ve got to wait for the weather before I can paint the tub. Ah well, roll on the spring.

Can you not set up a spray tent in the garage with heaters? I did this when I Raptor sprayed the underside of the BV8

I’ve already got a spray booth set up in the woodshed. And, my garage (barn) has no hearing anyhow. It’s all kinds of cold at my place.

@congo181 , could you not run an extension lead to the woodshed? Clean up/de-dust in prep for spraying and crank up heat to 20+degsC overnight, spray and allow a slow dry over a few days?

Here’s the tub. I don’t think I can wait so my plan is to refit it (maybe give it a bit of a run down first) and get her running and driving again.
With all new fixings it should be a doddle to remove when it warms up later in the year.

Why not just agree a cash job with a local sprayer :. sprayed in booth. You supply the materials and most of the prep' to keep cost down. The sprayer completes final prep', sprays and booth dries for you. I see no more than £300 cash for the sprayer.
