SEAT BELTS in 1969 Lightweight

Got a 1969 lightweight.
It had silly arse Cobra seats in it.
The belts were part of the seats - and they are all gone .....

Now, questions:

1. Does a 1969 Landy NEED seat belts?

2. If so what is the best way to fit them; what are the three ends fastened to?

Oh Goody ...... but WHERE please!

You should have seen the silly seats and belts that were in that car.
What a disaster.

Got flat seats now, so lap-diagonals are the order of the day.
I have plenty of them to fit - it's just what to fit them TO!

1/1/1965 is when seatbelt 1st became compulsory in front seats. I believe inertia reel belts became compulsory in 1985.
