I need to fit a long load into my series, the rail that goes across from side to side & holds the front seat backs is in the way. Is this rail simply there to hold the seat backs or is it structural in the event of a side impact as I should like to remove it or at least cut large hole in the ally infill panel. Any ideas???

I'm sure I've seen some cut right down but I'm my opinion it's structural. Not sure if it would have insurance implications.

can get or make for series, look online if not bend some pipe and weld on brackets
