I fancy one of those A pillar mounted spot/search lights that you used to see.
Updated to LED of course but I can't find anything like it on the net.
Plenty of LED roof mounted lights but you can't move those without moving the whole vehicle. Am i showing my age or is there a legal or some other reason for no-one wanting to make them?

I've seen electrically powered remote control lights on ebay. Not recently but . . .

didnt take a lot of finding should do the trick , and gives you more arc of usage than having a manual one on window pillar

They are quite common in the marine world some remote controlled, some with a lever through the roof. Try Marine, Automotive, and Industrial Parts and Spares - A.S.A.P Supplies I've used them for boat bits before and was happy with their service.
If you don't find quite what you want you could fit a led to a conventional bulb searchlight.
