Im looking to replace my alternator from my 3.5 v grove type. Its been suggest that other cars may have suitable doners, can anyone tell me what year/model would have a suitable one? Thanks.

euro car parts, got a lucas unit brand new for about 35 quid

yeah you can buy a new one cheaper than going to a scrappy if you shop around
