Scrap Yards

Or Vehicle Reclaimation sites.

So do any of you know of, or can recommend any. There are absolutely bugger all round this neck of the woods.

I'm specifically after a fuel tank, but it's always handy to have a few numbers to ring when the need arises.

There's one about 10 miles from here (south norfolk) near a village called poringland, specialises in 4x4 breaking. I'll try to find the name and website address and post it in a day or two. I haven't been over there for a while,but they have another scap yard next door where you can get all kinds of wierd non-car stuff

. Great fun to rummage around and there not all 'health and safety' about clambering over piles of old electromotors etc.

Cheers Dippy. I've heard there's a good 'un in Wakefield that guarantees their parts but the bloke who told me about it couldn't remember the name!!!!!!!!

Try these guys
Never used them but they're the only 4x4 specialised breakers i know of.

my local lr garage(not dealer) has got his own little series scrapyard around the back of his garage, give me a pm grunt if you are stuck
