Sat nav updates

Morning all

I wanted to know what sat nav upgrades / updates are available for the Freelander 2 built in sat nav? I’m assuming there is a disc hidden somewhere? but the system is very similar to one I had in a 2009 XF…My car is a 2010/11 model… I could buy a suitable phone cradle and use google maps but I find the built in unit easier and you get the traffic avoidance thing too.

Any help / advice greatly appreciated

Since posting this earlier today I’ve been doing a bit of digging… The DVD player is under the front drivers seat, that’s easy enough.. I’ve come across a number of Denso /Denso like MMM2 discs that are supposedly up to 2023/24 maps.. Do any of you guys have any experience of the replacements/ latest maps. Or these discs? . There are loads on Fleabay..

I know someone who has a 2009 F2 with 2021 maps running on it’s system - but I have no details of ‘how’ etc.
It is, therefore, doable. I imagine it is a cd.

I used this site twice for upgrades. Just make sure you get the right one ,Which were accurate. easy to install. Remove old disk from under drivers seat, replace with update disk. Hi, how to use used sat nav sd card? Is it possible to pair used card with my car by VIN number?
