Sat Nav on freelander model

Hi new here and new to sat nav

I'm probably being a bit dim but I can't seem to turn off either, the radio or the CD player when wanting only the sat nav voice on.
I have pressed the TP button to mute the radio, but then you can't see the map (arrows etc)

Is this just the way it is? or am I missing a simple point!

Hi no your not being dim you cant turn radio or cd off but what you can do is when the sat nav is on and the man or lady speaks you can turn up while they speak and then turn radio volume down this way radio can be almost muted and sat nav quite high i hope this helps tiga

you don't need to worry about satnav in a feaklander cos all the aa trucks have it fitted anyway
