Due to too many projects Im looking at selling my Land Rover Sandringham 6 6x6 (it was either this or the Diamond T and the DT just carried the day !!). Im finishing it off and thought I would see if anybody is interested in buying it.
Its a Series 3 stage 1 V8 139 inch wheelbase 6x6 made for Land Rover by Hotspur/SMC in 1983. Its a proper factory built 6x6 chassis/cab with a drive through centre axle not a made up one. The vehicle drives well and all works correctly
Im in the final stages of a complete chassis up rebuild, painted inside and out and the following work has been completed:
Chassis repaired with new out riggers, all primed and then painted in black.
Bulkhead is very good with the footwells repaired.
Rebuilt Rover V8 engine, 3.5 lt on carbs.
New clutch, Master cylinder, slave cylinder & pipes.
Nearly new recon LT95 gearbox with very rare PTO drive.
New fuel lines, fuel pump.
New Shock absorbers & Check straps.
New Springs
Rewired.
New brake pipes through out
1 Tonne wide Land Rover wheels with 6 new Good Year Xtra grip 7.50 x 16 tyres.
New hoses all round
Rare military front bumper with wide over ridders.
Luxury high backed genuine Land Rover vinyl seats.
New exhaust.
Painted in NATO green.
I need to complete the following, but these would be done in the price.
New radiator.
New brakes all round.
New Battery.
New MOT.
It will basically be a new vehicle, repainted inside and out, it will need a pickup body but I can easily get that sorted with a local fabricator for a reasonable cost whos happy to do the job. Its a genuine factory vehicle not a made up one, I have the log book in my name and if I can get an interest in somebody buying it, it will be finished in the next month or so. Asking price £15,000 plus the pickup body price.
