It could do with a bigger compressor
I can get you the media that you can use in it if needed around £9 a bag

Your be better of with a 100 or 150 litre compresor like this so it can keep up.
With CFM OF 13 rather than that of yours 8.3 not good

That's double what I want to pay for a compressor, I only want it for the one project. Let's see what I can find.

Grateful for the feed back

Thank you.

Put it this way the sandblast pot is nearly the size of the compressor so it has to fill that up and feed it with air as fast as your squirting it out .

Also don't expect. Miracles your blast hose is 2.5 mm
Where as mine is around 3o mm it would take me an hour ish to complete a chassis at 100 psi yours at around 40psi three days and most likely not remove rust

These are hobby machines capable or cleaning a small carburettor body for instance at a low pressure of around 10 psi not heavy metal !

I've used one of those for a few E30 subframes. I gave up half-way through the second one

I just use it now to clean small areas where I want to do welding to subframes and things for reinforcement etc or other stuff where a grinder won't reach easily. Then send the whole part to a local company for blasting and powder-coating.

How long do you need the compressor for, I have one I'm not using at the moment but it's a big heavy bugger and will need wiring direct to mains as it's a 30mp draw.
