I was in the car the other day and noticed the passenger front seat had lost it's base support.
Looking underneath, I could see some bits hanging down.
Had a Google and found that the diaphragms can split.
I ordered one from an online company, It's arrived today, and looks pretty substantial, so just got to take the seat out and get on with it.

Has anyone done this repair before, is it a royal pain or not to bad to remove the seat base.
Thanks for any info

The seats are easy to take out.
While out it might be an idea to mend any lumbar supports that are bust, you can do it by peeling back the outer cover and then sticking the flap of plastic back where it came from with sooper gloo! First time i did it I didn't believe it would work but it has held years, did it on both seats.

Seats are an easy fix, even took the covers off of mine to wash them :D, long nose pliers and patience ...

Reminds me that when I was a kid, one went on the driver's seat of my mother's old style Mini, she bought a new rubber diaphragm and set about the repair, with the seat still in the car. She found stretching the rubber really hard, she didn't use many tools as my dad didn't have any, was useless like that, but she had me and my bruv in the car trying to help.
It was the first time I ever heard her use the F word! Quite a lot too! (She was a doctor in her 30s by then.) think she might have got it done eventually! 🤣 🤣 🤣
