Hi All,

Hope everyone is well and keeping safe. Not been on here for a while due to birth of my son and lack of time to work on the P38. Those who know I spent a long time getting her running but sadly due to the severe rust I have decided to break break parts and foolishly bought another P38 to install the engine.

So if anyone needs any parts for their P38 then please PM me. It is a 1995 manual diesel in blue with black interior (see my profile photo).

Location? May be interested in full car if available.
In Crawley, West Sussex. Car is partially dismantled. Gear box, engine will be removed for new P38 along with bonnet and tailgate so not much of a full car hence why just breaking for parts.

Are you after the trims each side of the windscreen?
Will check them later, but had new windscreen fitted today. It was the bottom trim they had trouble with, and I know some of the small white clips are broken. Also need the bottom trim strip.

I've got all the trim for window surround and probably with the clips. Does anyone need them as bit confused?

Anyone need any other parts?

Is the cubby box strut ok?
No sure what it's supposed to do on mine but it doesn't lift the lid or hold it there..
Will need posting though sorry.

Hi which cubby hole you mean? This the one behind hand brake or the glove box?

If the plastic clips that fit to the sill finishers are ok I need some,if you unscrew the tread plates in side the door opening the finishers just pull off.i'll see if I still have photos of the offending parts

As @Grrrrrr has pointed out, yours doesn't have the strut unfortunately:(.
However, I've thought of something else, bit embarrassing asking for such a small part but at least it'll be cheap to post:D
The switch at the bottom of the switch pack which is used to select which mirror you want to adjust...mine is missing the oblong shaped bit of plastic , I just have a little stalk thing sticking up. Not sure how you remove this oblong knob though or even if you can be bothered to post ito_O:)

Would probably mean delving in alot more than is worth it. Easier to change the whole switch pack;).
Then you have some spare switches from yours when it gives problems:D.

I have 1 of them struts and may have to venture to the UK soon (maybe no dates), I dont really know how much it pops the lid so you can turn it over, will take a look:).
