s10 4x4 question

I have an Chevy S10 Blazer with a 2.8l V6. I blew the tranny today. I am
looking at a couple of different blazers that I can use for parts. What
other trannys will interchange?

Ask in a Chevy newsgroup, but I think only the 4x4 tranny that comes with
the 2.8 will work with the 2.8.

If you need a new tranny, it might be time to weight your options and see if
you can afford a new engine as well, then get the 4.3 and the tranny to go
with that.
