My '95 S-10 Blazer (throttle body injection) won't start. It was
running fine last night and now it turns over fine and even runs for a
few seconds when I spray starting fluid. Visible spark.
I took off the fuel filter to check for pressure, and there's none,
even with the ignition on. Shouldn't it be pumping gas out onto the
ground?
I'd like to check the fuel pump fuse next. According to Haynes, you
have to drop the tank to get to the pump itself so I want to make sure
it's not just a fuse first. Does anybody know which fuse it is?
Another possibility is that I'm out of gas. The electronic dash blue
lights don't work, so I have no gas gauge. I put 2 gallons in, but
it's facing uphill in the driveway. Is it possible that there was so
little left in the tank that a slope makes that much difference (1/8
tank)? According to the odo I should still have about 2/3 of a tank
anyway.
