The Hardtop Freelander i have just bought has rust stains on the four colour coordinated speaker covers! I thought I might spray them black. Do I have to take off the door panels to get the front door speaker grills off? How do I remove the rear speaker grills? Is their an easier way, maybe using a cleaner or rust killer...is this a common problem? Can anyone advise, the stains aren't bad just messy.

Yes you have to take the door cards off to get the front grills off. The screws for the front grills are on the other side of the door card. I'd also check all of your window seals on your doors while you're doing this and make sure water isn't getting in.

Went for gunmetal grey myself ;) rust seems generic to all hippos, happens within a couple of years from new.

At least FL owners have speakers, not like these tractor boys, and if they do, they're usually covered in cow crap, I hear they like sheep :D
