Hi folks,
I replaced both master and slave clutch cylinders on my 1989 RR Classic as both cylinders were leaking badly. Whilst fiddling about refitting the master cylinder pushrod onto the clutch pedal arm I noticed there's a return spring on this arm. It's not fixed to anything so the pedal arm is not returning on this spring.

Question: how do I get this spring to return the clutch pedal to the 'up' position?

Thanks

I tried to get at the clutch pedal box, but it wouldn't budge. It got too fiddly and I decided to give up on it. The clutch does return to the full up position but only does so because of the spring in the clutch master cylinder.

Shame. Does anyone know how to get the pedal box out?
