i picked up a bit of a project as semi build up series 3 on a nice shiny galv chassis its got a 2.5 d lump the previous owner had fitted the bulk head a defender one and it had the rear tub fitted basiclly no roof doors wings , ive fitted the door and wings but when fitting the roof today it would not sit straight on the doors unless i push the wind screen out, i have a feeling the defender one is slightly taller but have never compared it to a seris 3 bulkhead has any one come across this before and know a way round it or what to do

depender dash panel is the same hight - sounds like you just need to loosen it off at the 2 mounting points and shuffle everything around until you get a reasonable fit - don't worry that's all normal and is designed to test your stamina

excelent so by the sounds of it i have got to loosen the bolts on the end of the outriggers round the bell housing just out of couroisty will i have to drill any holes or reposition any nuts just so when my paticence is tested i dont go drilling holes or get the hammer out
thanks for the help
