Roof Bars

Hi All

Is it possible to take of the roof bars off on a 2005 TD4 Freelander Facelift. Have had a good look but cannot find any screw,bolt,etc.

I think the ends of the bars have prise off covers over two bolts. If you remove them you would need some original blanks to cover the holes in the roof. I think they look slightly better without roof bars anyway.

must be able to, as mine has not got them on, just blanking plates where they fit.

Check the manual! It does appartently mention how to take roof bars on and off

can't be superglue as it's not water soluble. doors wouldn't fall off if it was superglue. maybe copydex ? wallpaper paste ?

just remember to replace the torx bolts back in the holes or water will pour in through the headlining
