A 2.5lt engined passenger vehicle pre 2008 is E1080 over here and i thought that was expensive!
Yep. Are you planning to use it as a daily runner. If not, tax it monthly and sorn when your not using it. That way you pay for what you use, not what you don't.
You always could sorn a car at any time, but under the new no disc rules its much easier. Sorn applies immediately. As does the re tax. As soon as you tax online you can drive it. Just make sure you tax at the beginning of a month and not the end.
