Disco 2 Right front end clonks

Getting a clonking noise when cornering at lowish speeds , turn left right, clonks.

Cannot find any steering system play, nor ball joint play.

I will try to isolate more, but want to sort end of May when I am doing a lot of other repairs in that area.

What do worn drop links feel like on a D2?

I can move the ram a little side to side, is that right?

Check the C/V joints.

Not hard lock, just like swerving between lots of parked cars on a narrow road at 20mph
