Got a bit of a lean on me 2001 td5 es. I've noticed over the last few weeks that it seemed to be sitting a bit skewwif.
What I have done is start the car to see if it pumps up the rear air suspension, but it didnt. I guessed the problem was front end related so I measured the gaps between top of tyre to bottom of each wheel arch. The two rears were 4 inches each side. The front nearside was a tad under 4 inches but the front off side was 4.5 inches.
Its recently had an MOT and an advise of play in drag link ball joint was noted but not failed. There was no mention of anything else, but I have recently noticed the steering felt a bit like it was wandering a bit. I checked tyre pressures, all ok, but the off side rear tyre needed to be replaced, which I did on a like for like tyre type.
I'm now totally baffled so any advise would be appreciated cause although the measurements are not too different, the lean towards the front nearside is very noticeable.
Thanks fellas
Paul
