Newbie here. I have a Auto Disco 2 and when when i select reverse the fuse blows and i was wondering if anyone has had a similar problem. I also want to trace the wiring loom and i was hoping someone could point me in the right direction of the way it runs through the Disco. Cheers Alan.

Hello sierrafery thank you for getting back to me. Yes we have tried removing the rear clusters and the fuse still blows.

Was some work done at the headlining above the windscreen or do you have a leak there? you still didnt say the year of your D2, it's important

It's on a 52 plate there was no work done at the headlining above the windscreen but i have just spoken to my mate who was using it and he just told me during that heavy rain some water come out by one of the seat belts. I will try and find out from him front or back , nearside or offside.

OK, anyway to isolate the area of the fault you'll have to go the C0102/0484, unpin the green/brown wire from pin 11 and see if then the fuse blows or not

Hi there. Tried that next step unpluging Pin 1 on C0681 and the fuse still blows. Cheers for your help once again.

Before i started the next step of unplugging pin 2 on C0681 i put it in reverse to check the fault was still on and the fault had cleared. So i hope im right in thinking pin 2 on C0681 goes to the fuse box in the passenger compartment (P101) fuse 25. If the fault returns and on removing pin 2 on C0681 the fuse stays intact i assume it's looking towards the xyz switch.

If the fault comes back again i shall check the harness for any signs of damage and post on here the out come. Once again thank you for your help. Cheers.
